success in EU Infrastructural Projects
PM is currently providing project engineering supervision services on several EU Funded environmental infrastructure projects for public sector clients in Poland, Slovakia and Romania. PM is executing 9 EU funded supervision projects relating to municipal environmental infrastructure works for City authorities. Most of the projects are based in Poland, with the others in Slovakia and Romania. With a total contract value over €250m, there are 25 separate works contracts to be supervised. This includes wastewater and water treatment plants, transfer pipelines and pumping stations, as well as the rehabilitation of a landfill site. The ISPA projects are being managed and co-ordinated through PM's Wroclaw office in Poland. Each project also has its own site-based management and supervision team. For countries that joined the EU, the ISPA Programme is now replaced by the EU Cohesion Fund Programme. The core objective of the ISPA and Cohesion Fund Programmes is to provide investment assistance and technical assistance in the development and improvement of environmental and transport infrastructure across Central and Eastern Europe,.
