Dublin’s Merrion Hotel was the venue for the joint PM, PM Centrix and Microsoft Enterprise Project Management Executive Breakfast.
Delegates from a range of industry-leading companies heard how PM and Microsoft’s Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution could help them manage projects consistently and successfully across their organisations.
Participating in the event were a range of speakers with practical experience of managing large projects for organisations such as Allied Irish Bank (AIB) and for events such as the World Special Olympic Games.
Speaking at the event Fergus Aherne, Principal Consultant at PM, described how having a Best Practice Project Management methodology combined with a technology enabler plays an important role in the successful delivery of projects. Fergus went on to explain how a technology enabler allows people and resources to be managed effectively so that time and effort are optimized.
Microsoft’s Federic Sitbon outlined the value of using Microsoft Project Server as the cornerstone of Project Management throughout the enterprise, paying particular attention to the ability of MS Project to integrate with existing Office applications.
