PM to design new IKEA retail development in Poland

PM was recently awarded a contract to provide multi-disciplinary design services for IKEA Poland at its new retail facility at Bielany Park Handlowy in Wroclaw.  

This is the second phase of the development and will cover an area of 15,300 m².  

The completed development, with an area of 70,000sqm, will be one of the largest commercial centres in this part of Europe. 

IKEA, a retailer of low-price furniture, accessories, bathrooms and kitchens, has stores around the world. IKEA already has 8  retail centres in Poland and IKEA's distribution centre, the biggest in central and eastern Europe is also located there.  PM previously worked with IKEA on the first phase of the Bielany Park development (14,000sqm), and on IKEA's flagship commercial centre at Janki in Warsaw.
