Boston Scientific is a worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices whose products are used in a broad range of interventional medical specialities.  When the company developed its first major manufacturing facility in Ireland, PM was appointed project and construction manager and designer for this 3-phase project in Galway. 

The first phase involved the construction of a new purpose-built 5,500sqm facility, including 1,600sqm of Class 10,000 cleanroom production area, with associated office, warehouse and utility areas.  PM were subsequently appointed project and construction managers and designers for the Phase 2 (11,000sqm ) and 3 (15,000sqm ) developments.  Each of these fast-track phases was constructed over a 12 month period.
