As part of a Technical Assistance tender funded by the EC ISPA Programme, a Consortium led by PM has been selected to provide institutional strengthening and role of «FIDIC Engineer» as specified in the FIDIC «Red Book» covering construction contracts.
Simultaneously, the project team will provide supervision inspection services in compliance with the Polish Construction Law.
Works Contracts
- Construction of the main sewer in Sleza
- Extension of the sewer network in Stablowice
- Extension of the sewer network in Zlotniki
- Extension of the municipals sewer network Stage I
- Extension of the municipals sewer network in Oporow II
- Extension of the municipals sewer network in Oltaszyn
- Extension of the municipals sewer network Stage II
- Extension of the municipals sewer network Stage III
The capital value of the works contracts is in excess of EUR 70M.
Scope of PM Services
Performing the role of «Engineer» on the FIDIC «Red Book» based construction works contracts, the Consortium:
- Are responsible for the overall supervision of the Works Contracts
- Establish supervision systems and procedures complying with the Polish Construction Law, Health and Safety Standards and other regulations in force
- Establish Quality Assurance systems, Document Management Systems for management of the TA project
- Monitor and report on works contractors' progress
- Supervise tests and start-up and review the operational manuals
- Are responsible for Financial Administration of the Contract on behalf of the Client
- Provide technical support to the Client during the Defects Notification Period.
