Devereux prepared a development strategy  for the extensive 21 acre hospital site, which had earlier been intensively developed with predominantly single-storey buildings around the Grade 1 listed Roehampton House.
The predominantly three storey building rises to four storey’s at the front, it is a modern design to emphasize it’s standing as a major new civic facility within Roehampton. Direct access is provided at two levels, with the different healthcare functions linked via a main feature stair and glazed entrance hall.
The new Hospital allows for the reprovision of all existing healthcare services on the site, with some additional specialist services and future expansion space being included. The new Hospital marks the regeneration of healthcare facilities on this historic and nationally renowned site.
