The most recent was the Korean Gallery. The brief was to create a new gallery in an area of existing offices, within the King Edward VII building, featuring windows to the north overlooking Montague Place. All existing partitions and services were stripped out by the Museum. A new rustic oak floor was the main feature of the new gallery. With the entrance lobby contrasting in style as a clean and crisp white box, created from Statuario Venato marble. The work which was completed within 28 weeks, involved close working relationships between the architect, project manager and planning department, as well as the Museum's own Exhibition's Design Office.
