The plant underwent a major upgrade and expansion to cater for a design capacity of 80,000 population equivalents.
This milestone project was the first treatment plant in Ireland to be built for a Local Authority through a Design and Build Contract.  As part of the Client Representative team, PM's role covered electrical, instrumentation, automation and mechanical building services specification, as well as technical supervision of the tendering process and project implementation.
