PM Corporate Office
Nautical themes were an important part of the design philosophy for PM's new Cork office, reflecting the extensive maritime history of the locality.
Externally the facade conjures up images of waves, and the building is solidly anchored by two glazed wings. The interior carries themes of flowing water, ships decking and rigging, and features an abundance of natural light and a palette of natural materials.
PM's Architectural group came up with a design concept incorporating open plan working spaces to facilitate information exchange between employees and the 4,200 m² building has many energy and environmentally friendly design features.
PM carried out the complete architectural engineering design and procurement services using internal design and project resources.
